Hi everyone,

I’m currently looking to setup a DIY Co2 solution in my tank and was hoping someone would be able to offer suggestions for a 'cheap' and easily maintainable CO2 source.

I've stumbled upon a couple of sites where people discuss using SodaStream canisters for their CO2 source, but I'm slightly wary as I gather the thread on the canisters isn't a standard size?

Any other advice would also be gratefully received.

I am not using sodastream canisters due to price of associated equipment, but I am presently getting good results from a yeast based system adapted from a Nutrafin kit. If you would like any further details please let me know. I realise it doesnt supply as much CO2 as a cylinder, but its a lot cheaper.
