Re: calling all snake owners

Hello,

Just saw your question and thought I'd pitch in!! By now your snake will be getting on well and growing. Corns are usually super easy to care for and ready feeders. I fed all mine in the shop yesterday and not one failed to eat! I feed the small corns once a week, so you're doing fine. General rule of thumb is that the snake can manage to eat a food item equal to one and half times it's body girth. As for frequency? All species eat frequently i.e. weekly when young and they do seem to like a set pattern - odd though it seems. Don't panic, you may find your animal likes two smaller mice rather than one large mouse, it's just a matter of trial and error. Corns are great feeders so you really can't screw up!
