Unhappy cats and cars.

On monday afternoon my kids came running in to tell me that biggles my black 10 year old moggy was acting weird and dribbling. He had been hit by a car,all his claws had been ripped out and his pads badly damaged,he was very aggressive and was biting and scratching.I got him into a box and took him to the vets.He stayed in over night and the vet called in the morning to say he had a fit during the night, but had no broken bones.I brought him home,he had a fit as soon as i got him home, and a really bad one at 5 o clock this morning,i took him back to the vets and they gave me diazipan(3 a day) to stop his siezures,The person that hit him left him on the road and didnt even bother to look! i have two other moggies that live out and i am seriously considering keeping them in.I have lost 2 other cats this way.Has anyone else had similar experiances as with biggles? i dont know if he`s going to get better or if i`m going to have to have him put to sleep.
