I would be VERY careful about spraying it around such young animals, like your husband will suffer they will also suffer having such tiny little lungs. Ensure the room is well ventilated for a few hours, perhaps move them to another room whilst your treating the floors, nooks and cranny's?
Personally i would never treat a young kitten or nursing queen (0-6 weeks) with a flea treatment unless it was natural and organic. Nothing beats a flea comb to pick them out and wash bedding every day.
I wouldnt be happy putting chemicles on such a young animal ad if your putting it on mum its being absorbed into hr skin and obviously this has a knock on effect with her milk.

I got the frontline spray off the vet she said its ok to use from 2 days old. They are all fine now, and de flead thank goodness!! My cat is going mad if I wash the bedding because she cant smell them on it.
