Re: rescuing kittens

Just a quick update...the two black and white sisters went to their new home last weekend. They're now living on a farm in the middle of the countryside and the new owners are hoping they will be great mousers. The tabby boy is still here as his new owners are currently on honeymoon so he will be leaving us in a week or so. I will be REALLY upset to see him go as he LOVES winston & lola and sleeps on the bed between us at night. I've got a bit too attached I think.

The original owners FINALLY had the mum cat neutered but they kept 2 of the kittens back (despite the owner hating cats and saying he couldn't afford them...i think it was more for his kids that they kept 2. One of the kittens broke its leg and surprise surprise they could not afford to pay for any of the treatment so they have signed her over to the rspca. Grrr, it makes me mad

Let this be a warning that you should NEVER get a pet unless you have insurance or could afford to pay for treatment should your pet need any.
