No her personality will not change at all,you will have to watch her weight though.
Heather my last Guide Dog pup,slept all night and was rareing to go the next,but you have to keep them quiet and no jumping allowed,gentle LEAD walks till the stitches come out or dissolve(Heather only had 3 stitches) 10 days.Then all should be fine
