My black lab will be 2 years old next month and she hasn't had a season yet.

I thought she may be coming into season last Sept as my male dog kept sniffing her, but nothing happened. Do you think she may have had a 'silent season' or do you think there could be something wrong (she is in excellent heath/ideal weight/hip and eye tested).

She is a beautiful sweet natured dog and I would really love her to have a litter of puppies so that I can keep her line going.

Am I being over anxious or do you think I should take her to the vets for a check up?
