Hi, I recently bought a Bull Mastiff from a 'friend of a friend' and am having difficulty finding out any of his history, so I am now wondering if he may have been stolen.
He has a wound on his neck which was old and festering by the time I got him, it occurred to me after a couple of days that it may be the result of someone trying to remove an identity chip. He is booked in at the vets on monday for castration and microchipping, but I don't want to castrate a dog if there is a chance that he belongs to someone else.
