Hi, The book i have found quite usefull is Gwen Bailey's "How To Train a Super Dog" ,this goes right through all the different stages of training with some excellent pics (which i found very helpful), i do also have her puppy book which is good but a better buy now would be this other one as your dog is 1yr old .
There is lots of good info as well as training.
I got mine from amazon for £10 no p&p charges , full price was £14.99, so quite a good buy i thought.
