yes as in all repitals as you got to have the right foods the right heat around the cage and a basking light.personally a cage has got to have 3 sets of temps humidity, cool spot and the hottest part of the tank.yes they are cute as babys and i see why people want them but they dont realise the cost of things if your willing to pay 90 pound every 6 months on a basking light and feed it live foods and fresh greens .plus a proper cage is needed as they are cold blooded animals meaning there bodys dont produce heat.personally there are to many people giving reptials up realy your friend should stop breeding !!!!!
