When he first arrived he followed one of our cats into our enclosed garden and in through the cat flap, found him sat in the lounge one morning! We took him to the vet a few days after this to be scanned but he has no microchip and he was in a poor condition covered in fleas and lice, the vet said it was a sure sign he'd been alone for a long time (she actually took a sample of them to show the nurses what they looked like because they are so rare nowdays!)

My husband tells me not to worry and said the same as Faerie Queene that if he has owners they would have been aware of the lice and the eye and had them sorted.
