I love pet rats and have had them in the past, and want some more in the future, but if I had wild rats any where near or in the house I would definately want them gone and would rather use dogs or some other relatively quick method than traps where they can be trapped and not killed so they linger in pain till they eventually die or poison them which is a horrendous death and dangerous to other animals.
