The kitten looks very nice.

However Im a bit concerned about the fact that the kitten is meant to be registered but isn't because of a 'delay in paperwork', hopefully that is all it is and you will receive the pink slip in due course. She might hold onto it though till your kitten has been spayed when she is old enough, but if that is the case then you should have been told of this before the purchase?? and it should be down in writing.

Although you seem happy with the conduct of your breeder so far she is actually not following the GCCF guidelines. The kitten should be FULLY vaccinated before leaving the breeder at a minimum of 13 weeks - 2nd part of vaccine at 12 weeks with another week added to monitor kittens for any possible reactions. Did she explain why she was letting the kitten go early? As someone has already pointed out, she has cut her costs by selling the kitten under age.

She may seem very nice and friendly now and hopefully that will still be the case if you later have a problem with the kitten.
