He is happy to sleep downstairs and if he does go at night does it very quietly, no whining or barking etc, so can't really tell if he needs to go out or not!
When he is left he complains very loudly and usually pees (sometimes poos) quite soon after we leave him. Am hoping he will gradually get better with time as he grows up.
He unfortunately did not have a great puppyhood - breeder I later found out works all day and they were all just left in a pen, so he is not bothered at all about messing his crate and he is a bit clingy to me.
