general advice needed. please help!

hi everybody. I am new to this forum, i only joined it yesterday.
i need a general advice feeding my cat. i am completely confused after reading different posts here. i have about 2 years old(previuos owner unknown)tortoiseshell Jazz. we have rescued her 2 months ago from one of a local vets, she waqs envolved in RTA, and nobodyt claimed her . She is very sweet and gorgeous, but very very fusy about her food. We were told by vet that she is a fussy eater and wouldn't eat biscuits, but when we got her home she refused wet food and prefered dry . I didn't know which food to buy from all big selection (i am new to cats, Jazz is my first one), so i picked a random one from shelf - Felix. She loved it, but... it gave her constant diarohea. we took her to vet and he put her on i/d prescription diet food for 2 weeks and then vet suggested to try different food, so i bought whiskas and her tummy is fine. She doesn't enjoy it very much, sometimes she would lick a jelly or gravy and leave meat chunks untouched. i have tried different food- same. i tried to cook her fresh rice with fish or chicken- refuse to eat it, she hates my homemade cooking ! junky prefers cat food .
after reading in this forum i realized that whiskas is something like Macdonalds for humans. i hate junk food and i am healthy (more or less) eater myself, so i do not want my cat eat junk food
Please advice which food should i buy? which one is most healthy? i have tried to give her fish and chicken -she is not intrested, she only loves canned tuna and ham and i suspect she only loves it because it is salty so i don't want to give it to her very often. I am completely lost and confused and only want the best for my cat. please help. Any advice will be much apreciated.
