Hi, you're doing the right thing reading up on it, theres some really good websites on the subject, although they all seem to have their own take on how it should be done. At the end of the day they're your pets and you need to decide what is most suitable for them.

Puppys can be fed anything you would feed to a fully grown dog including bones as soon as they are weaned.

In my opinion meat and bones should be fed everyday, organ meat 3-4 times a week and vegetables 2-3 times a week, I don't feel theres any need to supplement the diet as it already contains far more nutrients than any dried foods. But like I said you need to come to your own conclusions and fed as you feel appropriate.

Chicken bones are only a problem when cooked, it is perfectly safe to feed them raw. As with any food theres a risk of choking but no more so with chicken bones than with dried food. Milo has had wings, breasts, and drumsticks and been fine with them all.

If you would like any more advice just let me know and I'll help you the best I can.
