Hi its not always about what other beagles eat but what generally is good food to feed, there are so many options when it comes to food some are better than others a good rule is to reseach and maybe ask for samples we did this on finding Pero food for Labs and be sure to gradually change the food if your thinking of doing this over a period of about 1 week . Dry food is the best but make sure it has all the nutrients he will need and never over feed as Beagles tend to be food orientated and will soon get porky if the food isnt measured out always go with the guidelines on the pack but only as a guide if you find he puts on weight reduce amount by a third , dail amounts will vary on amount of exercise he gets
