stick with the head collar they do eventually get it through to their heads that its not nice to pull , cockers are abundant with energy and can be head strong so you need to make sure he respects that your boss , when he starts to pull stand still make him sit wait a min till he calms and then walk again using the command heal , this is telling him that pulling gets him nowhere , repeat this each time he pulls it could take you half an hour to get 100 yards but if he realises he isnt going to get his own way he should start to learn , perserverance is they key dont let him do it one day and not the next you need to be consistant if he continues to pull while trying the method ive mentioned , go home then he dont get his walk it will soon sink in .
