Queens do normally do most if not all the work themselves but as with any delivering mum support from a trusted midwife is important,To be honest i wouldn't worry just yet about weaning,let her give birth and keep us updated and we'll take it from their, you and she will be fine as everyone will have lots of great advice and tips as and when you need them-do you have any pics of your lady in waiting?
