Re: How much chocolate is dangerouos - useful information

I bought three boxes of milk chocolates for my friend's three boys for Christmas - Buttons, Dairy Milk blocks and something else - so that's between 750g and 1kg. I wrapped them up and their mum put them under her tree - and her big black 7 year old Lab unwrapped and ate the lot. I am glad to say that she told me this a week later, and the dog was fine... and still is 4 years later! So if you're reading this thread freaking out because you've just found out that your dog has eaten a pile of chocolates, you can afford to breathe a little easier, it won't definitely die. But bear in mind that Major is a large dog with superb metabolism, and these were milk chocolates, (dark is worse) - and do call your vet.
