This is true of any bird though. You cannot have a bird and think that it will be ok shut in a cage, they need alot of time, easily as much as a dog would need!

However, I do agree that they don't make good pets, I think that they can turn very agressive at a certian age (as can any bird, but I believe they are harder to tame back down, although I've never owned one so don't know for sure)
