I have bad astham and my cats sometimes dont help it (I think its more the dust they cause dashing about) but I find washing my hands after ive touched them, washing thier beds often and just keeping cat hair to a minium as much as poss (not always easy)!

Also my GP said that my cats were the cause, I then went to the chest clinic at the hospital and got tested for an allergy to cats and other things and it was NOT the cats!

I actually could have kissed the woman who told me!
