Thanks for all your comments, that probably explains why my last '57' always had nice teeth. I only ever fed her dried stuff and gave her chew sticks. Never bothered with the bones though because she was small and had a great deal of problems getting them out again the other side. I always presumed it was just because she was a 57 and hardy. 5 days to go now, can't wait to get him
