Hey people. Ive had two male ferrets now for about 8-9, ones 8 months old and the other is 10. Neither have bin neutured/spayed and are indoor pets.

Everythings bin fine with them until about a month ago where one started having an obbssesion with peeing on ANYTHING that was on the floor and now the second ferret has started doing it. Its not just there usual poop corners I.E. if i drop a remote on the floor they will smell it and walk over it and pee on it and the same goes for EVERYTHING in my room. someone please tell me why theyre doing this as you can guess its not doing any favours for the house as ferret pee smells really bad. And along with answers why there doing this, would neuturing/spay them make it stop happening? like a terratorial thing perhaps.. or maybe they just dont like me lol

(Have to add though im not too keen on getting em both the snip, as it dont seem fair to chop there bits off for my own benefits, but any advice will help me alot)
