Re: Tiggers daily routine
LOL thought that was very funny.
A day in the life of Lucky is easy:
Get woken up at 7am by brother meowing for noms. Can't be bothered to get out of bed though - 'specially if its the hoomans bed. Get moved as the female hooman can't get up cos i'm sleeping between her & the edge of the bed (making sure she's got as little space as possible of course).
Have a little food & then play hide 'n' seek cos she wants to put that stuff on my ears AGAIN! - surely once is enough (NB that stuff being suncream). Go outside in the sun & sleep. If i'm feeling good i'll bring in a nice mouse or even a bird. Me & my bro will clean up most of the bird (leaving some feathers of course so they know we've eaten) but will leave the mouse to play with later. If its a nice day will go back outside, under a tree, & sleep - if not its my bed.
Hoomans get back about 7.30pm and wake me up. They make us wait for food cos its still light. Have the rest of breakfast to eat as well as dinner. Don't feel like eating it all in one go cos its more fun making the hooman's get up everytime i want to eat & get my food for me. Otherwise the evening is spent sleeping on whichever hooman doesn't have a strange thing on their lap before going up to bed.
For Patch i need to start at bed time.
Go to bed with the Hooman's. Walk up between them & flop down on the male hooman for cuddles. Then go over to the female for more. WHen the light goes out I go & decide who's feet to sleep on or sleep between them....
2am - one hooman gets up FOR FOOD!!!!! so must follow, hang on thats not the kitchen - he didn't even go downstairs. Oh well must mean its cuddles time.....
3am - am watching the female hooman just in case she needs me for a cuddle - yup she sent the signal by turning onto her back. So all i need to do now is walk up her body & stick my nose into her face and say WAKE UP I'M HERE CUDDLE ME. Oh no response.. back to being on guard again.
4am - yup she definately signalled again - better walk around the bed a few times just in case & will check on the male hooman as well...nope still no response.
5am - ok she means it this time - her hand is free from the duvet. If i just angle my head right i can... yes! a head stroke, knew she wanted a cuddle. Better do it a few more times & then sleep up next to her.
6am - hungry want noms. will start to mew quietly just to make sure they know.
7am - machine makes a funny noise so better meow loudly as well, in her face (& whilst standing on her chest/boobs) just to make sure. But time for proper cuddles first.
Food time yay! Then time to go out - need to make the most of it as i'm not allowed out after 8pm.
In the evening i'm on constant alert cos if my sister doesn't finish her food & the hoomans don't hide it I'm right in there.
Then its back to sentry duty again.
Sorry, just realised its an essay but thats what happens with two cats with different personalities.
