We are now running the PetForums "Refer a Friend Competition" where the winner receives a
£200 cash prize.
To enter the competition you need to be a registered and active member* of PetForums.co.uk. All you need to do is to refer as many people to the PetForums.co.uk website who then register on the forum and become active members*. The winner will be the person who has referred the most people to the forum before the end of 31st July 2009. Please note that it is Free to register on PetForums.co.uk.
There are many ways in which you can refer people to the website, you could tell people by word of mouth, i.e. friends and family. You can post your referral link on other websites, i.e. social websites like facebook, twitter, myspace, bebo etc..., even post your referral link on your own pet website if you have one, or just send out emails to friends and family who you think maybe interested in the forum.
Please note that you each of you have a unique referral URL link in your profile, if you login and go to "Edit profile" you will notice the link near the top of the page. If you copy this link and send it out in emails or post it on websites, everytime someone clicks on the link and then registers on PetForums, you will be automatically credited with 1 referral. Please note that your profile page shows how many referrals you currently have.
If you have told someone to register by word of mouth and they arent following a link, then please let them know your username so that they can type it in on the registeration form as the name of the person who referred them.
Please be as creative as you want in trying to recruit new members, but please dont start spamming other forums.
You are welcome to copy our logo and use it in your promotion or to enter your own text along with the link if your posting it on a website.

At the end of the competition on 31st July, please pm myself with the number of your referrals you have made and I will check them and announce the winner.
* Please note that the people you refer need to become active members and make at least 10 posts on the forum. This will prevent people registering themselves multiple times just to gain extra referrals.
