Hiya
I have been letting Jinxy outside into the back garden close to every day with his harness on for about 5-10 minutes (he is 4 months old), he is behind in his injections, he is due his second set of his first injections next wed.
He is brilliant with the litter tray normally, but today hubby was about to go out the back door (which is the door we go out with Jinxy) and there was poo just on the floor by the back door, some of it solid some a bit runny like (sorry).
We have givin him a variety of different litter for his toileting and he has managed to go ahead and do his business no problems, we have wood pellets in his litter tray at the moment, and he has had it before.
We have not changed his diet, he is on 'purely' meat and a small amount of dry in the morning and at night time, so nothing has changed there.
I had mentioned it to my mother inlaw, and she said with him being 4 months, he might be trying to spray, but did the toilet instead

, or he is wanting to do his toileting outside.
Or could it be a tummy bug with the fact some was solid and some was runny? he is sleeping at the moment, but i will see how he is, if he does it again i think i will go to the vet, i would hate to think he has caught anything
Thanks if anyone can reply, sorry for it being a long post. He is our first cat, so i am just unsure of what it could be causing it.

He has been chewing at bits of grass when he has been out also. I know dogs sometimes do that if they have an upset tummy, is it the same for cats?
