Hi There, Please dont worry. I have a seal point Ragdoll, and every march i have to have him dematted because he absolutely will not let me brush him.

His fur always comes in very dark brown/black which make him look really odd as the rest of his body is cream....i have had a few people ask "whats wrong with him?"

But by the time it is fully grown it changes to match the rest of his colouring although the undercoat does stay dark you really cannot see it at all.
