I have heard that sometimes kittens can present with heart murmurs and that a few of these can "grow" out of them but I really do think it is how a case of how severe the murmur is. We did take a kitten who on his first visit to the vet was diagnosed with a very slight murmur but when we took him back 3 weeks later they couldn't hear it. We held onto him for a little longer and then took him for a follow up check up but he was absolutely fine.

I sincerely hope that your Sweep's murmur isn't to severe and will keep everything crossed for you on your next visit.
