Re: Hooded litter trays

When we first got Tilly we had an open one, just initially to save a couple of pounds as we went to Pets at Home on the way to collecting her at the RSPCA and we were so excited we spent a fortune! They do smell though and we had bits all over the floor as she likes to kick and scrape A LOT, she spends ages in there just making as much mess as she possibly can. We got the hooded one and I was apprehensive to see if she would adapt quickly, I think I might have even posted on here too but no need to worry – she took to it straight away and used it with no problems (no door on our tray and also positioned in the same place as her old open one). Hardly any bits get kicked out now as it’s nice and deep and the hood does help with the smells, although they do still smell! She’s not very lady like! Good luck with yours.
