They get used to them very quickly and I do think they are great for two reasons! 1) They can't scrape litter absolutely everywhere and 2) they definitely smell less than open trays! I have started over here with open trays but am going back to hooded trays for practical reasons!

I don't use the little doors, I find them to be a pain, Zooplus do a great jumbo tray which I love, the more room they have the better I think!
