Re: Is this normal behaviour?

Bog standard cat behaviour!!
One of my cats is a Brit.Sh.Hair..... big, fat, and so laid back he couldn't be any more horizontal. He's the perfect teacosy!
But then, every evening before I close the patio doors, and manoeuver the cats indoors out of the cat run, he has his "mad half hour". Yep. ears flat, and running like possessed up and down the length of the run, dashing up the wooden beams supporting hte run, and hanging upside down, swishing his tail, and looking totally "mad"..... and yes, if I reach for him, he swipes at my hands, and bites 'm..... not nastily mind you. This madness lasts on average 10minutes, and then it is like switching a light off, and he is back to being a perfect teacosy, and gives me one of his melting looks, and I can pick him up and he comes indoors for the evening/night.
Soooo, you'll just have to get used to it......
