You say dogs have survived scavenging from bins and eating rubbish on the streets!!! OMG is that what you really think is a good thing???? What about the many that die a painfull death with bones and 'rubbish' stuck in their bodies unable to digest it or even worse starve to death because a piece of bone is lodged in their mouth and they are unable to eat!!!! Is this really what we want to be advising is a good thing i wonder? Are we going backwards or forwards with our 'pet dogs'??
I just know that i would never ever try to feed bones as a main source of diet or even a treat to my dogs, i do not want to risk their lives when they are quite happy eating commercial food that i know is very good for them!!
Sorry to seem negative just that you have your evidence of how poorly your dog got in the first place after a couple of days change in diet, why try to fix something that is going fine in the first place i wonder???
