My view is hardly only sympathetic to myself and my dog.
I don't just care about my dogs need to run free, I care about every dogs need to run free, for me the rule wouldn't be a great problem as I have the time and means to take him further afield.
But as I said previously, not everyone does.
And my view is sympathic towards the other members of the public as I have said I think there should be areas for on lead and off lead. If you have a phobia of dogs go to the on lead park.
And I repeat:
How is a dog that is used to running around off the lead, burning off loads of energy going to react when he's stuck on the lead, getting a fraction of the exercise he/she is used to?
