Is that what you don't like, feeding live insects? A gecko, or a Bearded Dragon is definalty not for you then. No way would I feed an animal that is supposed to eat insects, and man made replacement.

There are a couple of herbivore lizards that can be kept as pets, Uromastyx being one of them. However, you seem like a reptile beginner, so I wouldn't recommend one.
