I agree with this.

And if i was them, and really good about listening to a neighbour dealing with this, i would be happy for that person to come and check on my dog. I wouldn't find it offensive or anything either really. And this way you might also form a friendship with your neighbours.

I was going to say if your neighbours don't feel comfortable around allowing a stranger to come into their house then offer to take the pup to yours, but then again Blitz mentioned the other adult huskies too, it wouldn't be fair to separate them all.
