A friend of mine's dog once got a whole chicken carcass once and although he didnt each much of it before he was caught he was quite ill from it the splinters had cut him as it went down and he undigested parts actually scratched the bowel trying to pass it he was losing blood for quite a while everytime he poo'd. so after that i have always been very carefull with mine when chickens around.
