I have a siamese cross fell cat and he is always awake at night. Its just instinct as you can most probably hear if your bedroom window is open in the night you can hear yowling and scrapping. My cat normally sleeps through the day only getting up for refreshments then stays out all night. I put a comfy chair and blanket in my summer house and he kips in there if it starts raining when hes out. Your kitten is too young to do this yet but it is a good idea for when hes older
