My Zipper has destroyed every soft bed he has had, he loves finding a weak spot on the seam and then pulling out all the stuffing.
He has even chewed a hole through the middle of some vet bed I'd bought.
Now the only bedding he has in his crate is a couple of cheap fleece blankets, for some reason he doesn't chew them and the bonus with them is they are quick and easy to wash and dry.

What Fleur said.
Fleur, I think we are sharing the same dog
Despite my dog having plenty of physical exercise, oodles of mental stimulation (I'm training her for Competitive Obedience and also love teaching her tricks so we are always working on something with the clicker), me being home all day and her mum for company when I do go out, she chews for England and always has.
She has eaten many beds (always starts with the zip and like yours, just has cheapie blankets from Tesco now which she doesn't chew. Expensive taste, clearly) and actually ate huge holes in the walls of the dog room at her chewiest.
Things I did:
Fill kongs/hollow bones with her dinner and freeze them.
Smear some peanut butter in same (they'll spend HOURS trying to lick a dab of peanut butter out of a hollow bone)
Plenty of bones and chewies - I know that some people don't like rawhide chews because of the risk of choking, but TBH I figured that the small risk of choking was outweighed by the somewhat larger risk of my OH murdering her if she kept eating the walls... that said I never leave her unattended with a rawhide chew and remove them when they get too small.
Plenty of exercise, physical and mental, so they're too tired to want to chew much.
Smear Vick's Vaporub on anything (chair legs etc) you don't want chewed.
I am currently at the stage of wondering whether to risk buying another "nice" bed for my dogs.... I might go for one of the supposedly "chew proof" ones and smear loads of Vick round the seams, just in case...
