Please help,

We have a beautiful tabby who is 13 months old. He is an absolute angel.

We got a 6 week old kitten about three days ago.

We have not neglected our cat, but understand the 6 week old is going to need attention.

Our cat, is afraid of the little kitty, the little kitty hisses at out cat. They are both scared.

How do we get them both to play together. We keep them in one room together for a little while, then we seperate them taking them into different room.

Please help. Out tabby is very attached to me, and although he is an out door cat, it seems he is terrified of the kitty.
