Re: Dry food

on the note of treats, I thought i would not be able to give Syd treats again - but I found some nice ones in PAH, albeit expensive - they are pure white fish, dried into cubes. So i gave Syd and Cass some and they LOVED them - i soaked Syd's ones in some water (he doesnt like drinking, despite a water fountain and bowls around the house so i hide water in his food as much as poss)

I know that the treats are expensive (well, relatively) but he was SO happy to have something else. i know our vet wont approve - she said if we feed him something he likes (he tolerates RC Urinary S/O wet), then he wont eat his RC diet. I struggle with this though - if he doesnt really like it, but does eat it because he trusts us and is a good lad, then why shouldnt i give him these? She did say they would also unbalance his PH which is more of a concern to me

but going back to my point - i am pleased there are treats out there which are not dry food. I dont want a debate with anyone but my personal experience has been that our 2 love their diet and dont seem to miss dry at all
