The thing with dry cat foods is finding the one that suits you, your cat and your pocket. If you get all three then great stick to it.

Imho the best dry catfoods are things like origen. What your looking for is a very high meat content with little or no cereals and fillers.

Foods in the happy medium imho include burns, almo, james welbeloved and arden grange.

I have my cats on a raw diet (and forthglade wet food), but they do have access to arden grande all the day too.
