Re: Puppy Vaccinations

Some may disagree with me here

Get them done at your own vets after you have had your pup with you for at least a few days, preferably a week or two

Reason, scared little pup straight to vet nasty stingy needle in neck full of live vaccine - not that brilliant really

Happy pup settled with you been to vet for a visit no jab, goes in a week or two later much more relaxed and happy with the world and less likely to have a reaction.

I know this means you have delayed being able to get your puppy out and about but it should be a happier baby.

IF your breeder's vet uses the same vaccinations then you could consider having the first one but I would leave it after all a couple of weeks isn't going to make a difference to 12 or so years of a happy healthy life.

only my opinion folks
