Jobsworth came to me as a foster placement, but he really needs a pernamant home. He like many exbreeding dogs they have to learn everything about the outside world as they may not have experienced it before. But Jobsworth (or Gizzy as we have been calling him

) is really starting to come out of himself and settle down and learn the fun side of life. House training is comming on and we only have the odd miss-happ. He has clearly had some rough mishandling

in the past and he thinks your going to hit him, also he didn't like his collar being touched. But we have started the processes of training him - collar being touched = treats

and he is getting the idea and slowly and is getting better. He is being walked on a harness but is still a bit overcome at the big wide world. We were greeted this morning with him bounding over for a stroke along with my dogs. I washed and groomed with without any bother he was a real dream.
Unfortunatly he is a bit to domanate at times with my dogs who are extreamly submisive. If he doesn't find a home soon i might have to resort to sending him back to the kennels as he is becoming a bit to much for my own dogs. Which would be a real shame as he has come so far in some ways about enjoying life in a home.
Jobsworth is a lovely boy who needs a new forever home and someone will be able to give him the time and ongoing training he needs. A home with another larger and self assured dog in his new home would suit him best.
If you could offer him a home please contact Kevin the foster co-ordinater on the number below.
