One of my whippet bitches Tegan was very difficult to house train. We had to shut the door and leave her outside until she had done a wee.

I would put her outside and shut the door. You can either go out with her and wait until she has done or watch her through a window. If she is in the house and starts sniffing round or going in circles then I would put her outside. She will get the message eventually but whippets can sometimes be a bit stubborn.

Watch her if the weather is wet and cold if she's anything like my whippets she will dash out and run back in because its cold. This morning when they went out it was pouring down with rain my lot tried to dash out then back in so they found themselves shut out until they did something. They then went back to bed.
