We have a nine-month old Weimaraner bitch whom we've owned for four months. She is house-trained beautifully during the day when we're here, even asking to go out when necessary, but she poos and wees when left alone and during the night. I understand when left alone she may be stressed but the night-time especially is really getting me down as it's a horrible job to sort out before breakfast! I can't seem to find out anywhere whether by this age she 'should' be clean and understand she shouldn't go in the house?? And more to the point, as we are never there to say 'no' to her and send her outside how will she ever break the habit?? We've been doing all the right things about not getting cross and just clearing up quietly but therefore our point is never getting through to her. Any suggestions please?
