In a few weeks I'll be getting my new puppy. She was born two weeks ago and we went to see her when she was just 10 hours old - the breeder bought her out to us for a couple of minutes and she also bought the mother out afterwards - she had obviously recently given birth! The reason we went to see her so early was that we have been waiting for this particular colour of the breed and knew that there were other people waiting on the birth of the puppies for their choice in colour.

I don't know if it's because I'm reading more on this forum, or just me being a worrier but I'm starting to worry about my puppy! We already have a male neutured dog who is almost six, and we only want our new puppy as a pet, not to breed from so don't want her papers!

I'd still like to know her background and see her with her mother - can I ask the breeder for this? There's nothing that the breeder has done to make me worry, it's just that you hear such awful stories.

Can anyone advise me please on what questions to ask and what records I am entitled to see?

Also, if anyone has CKCS could they pm me - I'd like to ask their opinion on the breeder if they have heard of them
