That's rather rude!! At least that developed a breed of cat that looked different to any other. Plus it had an element of being established from a grass roots using a domestic short hair, not just sticking two established breeds together and calling it something different. Bit like the labradoodles in the dog world. I am sure they have the same debates over there.
