There is a possibility, but it is very very unlikely that they would contract the disease. I would say though that cats and dogs have been known to shed the like bacteria in their faeces (poo), so good litter hygine is essential.

I feed all my cats raw, and the dog has raw chicken wings too. They love it. HTH xxx
