It is possible but not very common. The bacteria in cats mouths is pretty hardcore and does it's best killing off bacteria in meats as they are carnivores by nature! Just be sure to use fresh meat that is kept correctly and don't leave it out for more than 8 hrs. Also be sure you don't warm it or half cook it. It's either raw or cooked, no in between.
